The Economic Times World Leaders Forum 2026 brought together more than 40 global business leaders, policymakers and investors under the theme “Shared Futures: Secure, Intelligent, Resilient.” Discussions focused on how AI, geopolitics, demographic change, energy security and shifting trade patterns are reshaping the global economy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India’s reforms, stability and expanding role in global growth, while business leaders emphasized that India must use AI not only in large companies but also for small businesses, farmers and rural communities. The forum also explored the future of jobs, payments, manufacturing, logistics and global supply chains, with leaders stressing that businesses must prioritize resilience, trust, innovation and long-term investment over efficiency alone.
